Explore the second-largest city in Ireland, Cork, with your EF friends!
As you wander through the city, you will see a beautiful mix of modern and old buildings. The medieval alleys and Georgian avenues tell stories from the past, while contemporary street art and lively music scenes showcase the true essence of Ireland. In Cork there are many exciting spots to explore no matter what your interests are.
Join us on 28th October for an overnight stay with your EF classmates that includes:
- Accommodation

- 2 hours paintballing

EF Discovery Days - Glendalough
Come and experience one of the most iconic nature sites in Ireland with EF on our Glendalough Discovery day. Explore stunning nature whilst hiking and overnighting in the Wicklow Mountains.
As you wander through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains, you will find yourself in the biggest National Park in Ireland. Day 1 will be the shortest of our hikes, taking you along Poulanass Waterfall before leading to the upper reaches of Derrybawn Mountain. On day 2, you will hike the famous Spinc. This hike will give you fantastic views and picture perfect opportunities of the Upper Lake no matter the weather. You will also pass old ruins to add to the historic Irish feeling!
Join us on 30th October for an overnight stay with your EF classmates that includes:
- Accommodation
- 3 course evening meal on 30th
- Breakfast & lunch on 31st
- 2 accompanied hikes in the Wicklow Mountains
- Return transport from Dublin to the Wicklow Mountains
- When? Wednesday, October 30th - Thursday, October 31st
- Where? Wicklow, East Ireland

EF Sea Safari in Waterford
Wrap up warm and get ready to explore the southern coastline of Ireland from the sea. This Sea Safari will give you awesome views of the Hook Lighthouse and the opportunity to spot some marine wildlife including seals, dolphins and if you're very lucky, whales!

Are you a thrill-seeking student ready to launch yourself across treetops? Join us and your EF classmates for an afternoon of Ziplines and High Rope courses!
Remember to wear sensible closed shoes (trainers or boots) and clothes that cover your legs and are comfortable. There are only 25 spots available for this activity, so don't forget to sign-up fast!
Remember, this activity is for students placed in South East Ireland only.

Explore Nightmare Realm
Did you know that Halloween originated in Ireland?! It's origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago, mostly populated Ireland, UK and northern France.
If you're into jump-scares, spooky scenes and haunted houses then Nightmare Realm is for you. What better way to celebrate this horrifying holiday than immersing yourself in all things terrifying! Located in Dublin, Nightmare Realm includes themed mazes, on-site live entertainment and a museum of horrors, to name just a few!

Visit Carlingford
Carlingford is a picturesque coastal town in County Louth, nestled along the shores of Carlingford Lough, it separates the Republic of Ireland from Northern Ireland. The nearby Slieve Foy Mountain is a popular hiking destination and the town is also close to the Carlingford Greenway, a scenic cycling route that runs along the lough.
It is truly a magical place to visit, and it’s also said to be where the last fairies of Ireland reside, so start planning and who knows you might experience something out of this world!

Explore Dingle
Dingle is a small port town on southwest Ireland’s Dingle Peninsula, known for its scenery, trails and sandy beaches. A statue of long-time harbour resident Fungie the dolphin is by the waterfront too.
To the northwest, Gallarus Oratory is an ancient dry-stone church with sloping sides- a unique must-see!
